I will reapply the patch when I get home but I never got anything like what is in your screenshot. I really want this to work for me.

Ok I knew I wasn't crazy this patch wasn't applying for me at all.

Hi Metaview,
I absolutely love this patch, because it tranforms the calendar from unusable to good. I nearly ceased using datebk6 on classic since I installed the patch. I have one feature-request: would it be possible to show the event subject in weekview also for all-day events? That would be awesome. Thanks Ralf |

Hi Metaview,
the display of the Reminder-Symbol (Bell) is erratic for me. On some events it is shown, but there is no reminder set. I can't see any rule to predict when it is shown. A short test indicated that when I set a reminder on an event and later disable it, the bell will still be shown. For me it is no showstopper, because I seldom use reminders, just in case you want to dig into it further. Thanks for the patch again. Ralf |

Thank you for reporting. I guess "if (event.alarm !== undefined)" is the problem, should rather be "if ((event.alarm !== undefined) && (event.alarm !== ""))" or something like this. Need to check it, thx.

Week view could now look like this. I still need to create the patch file.

When I removed the 2 in calendar2 it applied correctly for me. I have seven calendars and the event's and appointments are really close so it has everything jumbled up when I view one calendar it looks good. I look forward to the view in post 52. Great job on the calendar patch.

Glad you got it sort out. I'm sorry for mixing up both file pathes. Will take care in the next patch file.

MetaView - One feature of this patch is colors in monthly view. Are those the colors of the profiles or did you add a feature to set the color of each added appointment? The latter would be great. I'm a DateBk6 user and would love to collaborate with you to make this calendar patch highly functional (so I can get off DateBk6). thorne

No, I use the profile color (if I know the assosiated profile at all). To use custom colors I can only think of a special tag inside the notes which then is translated into a color like: UBERCOLOR=#ffff00 for yellow. But how would you set them?

I use colors for event types. For example, I might use grey for normal appointments (e.g. errands, meetings, concerts), blue for my performances (I'm a musician), red for birthdays, etc. I don't use Google Calendar to manage my schedule, only the Pre. thorne
