Thanks, I am very familiar with the headers.
/usr/palm/applications/com.palm.app.calendar2/app/controllers/app-assistant.js doesn't exist on the Pre. My question was is he creating another folder because if he is referencing the Pre calendar app it is the wrong directory.

to create the patch one has to compare two files/folders, most of the time one might copy the whole directory structure into another place, I decided to just create a copy of the app directory using a different name but at the same place.
The calendar needs now more infos, stuff like alarm or event subject aren't retrieved in the original code, I had to get the further details for each event, this might slow down a bit but depends on the amount of events you have. |

I installed your patch but I didn't see anything different for my calendar. Can you post screen shots so I know what I need to be looking for.

Well, didn't you write your calendar becomes really slow? Now you aren't sure you have the patch installed
Well, there is a link to some screenshots some posts above. Basically, if you see a week number in the title, it is installed. Did WOSQI resets your phone after installation? Do you have 4 buttons in the command bar menu?

@mamouton: Sorry, I don't understand your quote. The list are the enhancements from this patch and they are all there. For me the calendar isn't slower than before, rendering the subjects in week view takes some time, but the initial view without subject lines should be as fast as before.
There is a bug when you don't have the images installed, then the week view will only render 3 weeks and not go any further. I will fix it in the next update. Maybe I get the week view faster then too. This is the post which links to some screenshots: http://forums.precentral.net/webos-p...ml#post2424914

Yes, all this features should be there. Have you watched the screenshots?
number of week in title ok, this you have event subject in week view what do you see in the week view? all-day events in month view do you see the days with an all-day event painted in the color of the calendar which this event belongs to? colors in month view this is not very matured and only happens if you select the correct calendar reminder icon in day and week view you should see a small bell image (if you have it installed) a button in the command bar to open the agenda app ok, this you have, right? opens the calendar in the last open view try it, it should remember its last view

I looked in the first post for screen shots but I don't see them. I don't see any of the items after the number of week in the title. I have removed all other calendar tweaks to see if there was a conflict but still no different result. I do have the button in the command bar to open agenda app. So it appears the things I am missing is the week view and all days in events view and the reminder icon in day and week view. Does this add another calendar I have 7 calendars and have even selected one to see if that made a difference but still didn't see anything

The file /usr/palm/applications/com.palm.app.calendar/javascripts/datejs/week.js will be created by the patch.

Why would it? Because the screenshots are in German? Shall I change my device language? No, the patch is for all languages, all devices and all countries as long as the calendar source files are the same...
