I just did a full erase and I still have the facebook chat patch from the msging app...

I also have some other patches..

    1. Bookmark icon in browser
    2. Battery percent

those are what I have noticed so far...

aren't the patches erased after a full erase?

I guess you didn't do a full erase. Did you do the secure erase from the palm menu? or did you use OS Doctor?

try the full-secure erase, or try doctoring first.

You gotta doctor it to get rid of patches. or you can use webos repair utility. Just hitting full erase just deletes every file on your phone, does not rewrite any script.
Thank me if I helped you.

so basically a doctor will put my pre into factory settings?

I figured secure erase is just a full erase done several tmes over... So probably the same result. Rght?

doctoring will also remove the overcclock too right?
