well, I'm not 100% certain, but since it seems to be your only help so far, here's my answer. If you are using the Internalz from the app catalog, then it may not install. If you are using the Internalz Pro from Preware then I don't see why it wouldn't. But, if you have Preware, then why not locate the patch in Preware and install it that way? My point being, if you have not installed Preware, then your Pixi may not be capable of any patches.

I have installed Preware, and I was running it through Internalz Pro itself. My bad for not mentioning that earlier.

It is not directly available on Preware and thus I had to download it and copy it to my Pixi.

I am trying to install it on veer have tried the preware and webosquickinstall both method fails.
I get IPKG Error, if someone can check these logs I can mail them.

This patch just worked out fine, but now even if I press ctrl+enter, it dont send any text message.
I have to hit the plane button to send it but worked great

Hey ! I've just replaced the original files chat view-assistant.js and compose-assistant.js using nova term, which modified version I made looking the original patch for WebOs 2.2.1.

I modified compose-assistant.js and chatview-assistant.js for enter key make a new line. The credit goes to the guy who made the original patch, michel. I looked what should be modified and adapted for 2.2.4 files.

Use novaterm :

1/ Put files in your downloads folder with USB

2/ Novaterm allows you to root your HP Pre 3

3/ type : cd /media/internal/downloads/

4/ Type : cp compose-assistant.js /usr/palm/applications/com.palm.app.messa
ging/app/controllers/

5/ Type : cp chatview-assistant.js /usr/palm/applications/com.palm.app.mess
aging/app/controllers/

6/ Restart Luna. (Preware or Luna manager)

Normally enter key will create a new line. But I have no idea to make ****+enter send the message. It works on my HP Pre 3. Hope it will help you Tell me !!!
