WebOS Repair Utility is in the Canuck Software sub-forum. It was developed by Jason Robitaille, who also created WOSQI.

Ok, I think I may have actually got Preware on my phone again. I hadn't deleted those other files first (that could have been the problem). We'll see.

I think this might fix your "Memory Critical" errors.

    Code:

Hmm, had an error installing/updating the Hide Nascar app. Trying again.

ETA: It is automatically installing Lsdiff.

Holy cannolli - it worked! I think it was from me not removing those two files before. Thank you to all that helped in this thread. To the others that have problems - if I in some weird way can help, let me know. I can make you cool ringtones or something.

Package Manager Service and Lsdiff. I was looking for them under Patches in Quick Install, and wasn't seeing them, so I thought they were gone. But they were under Applications. So after removing them, reinstalling Preware on my phone worked.

ok So I should take out those two PLUS preware and reinstall them all correct. Cuz I couldn't get into Preware and I currently can't update PacManServ. Sound about right?

Wow, I have to say, that is **** up, all that wasted energy and frustration over having to uninstall and reinstall those four things.... Just to get rid of an app.

While I said up the thread a bit that AUPT is an utter fail... I am not totally convinced it worked but I guess it isn't a "fail" more then it ended up being a frustration!

Well, when I tried to reinstall Preware onto my phone, it was giving me errors. I think it was trying to install those two things on top of themselves. So I would remove Preware from my phone, remove those two things from Quick Install, and remove all files in your Install and Resources folders (on your computer).

I mean, what is your main goal? To get Preware on your phone? I don't know your exact problem.

I'm in the same boat. I was installing some app (cant remember now) and then all memory issues. Rebooted and now it takes 15-20min to start and when it does it freezes and is unresponsive.

Uninstalling and reinstalling those apps and files all worked.

It all started (for me) when I tried to initiate the Remove Music App patch. After that it was all down hill for 2 days. I tried Preware WebOS QI, tried installing the newer version of Package Manager and it would all freeze up or have critical memory error.

I was able to get into the removal section of QI to remove the Lsdiff thing and Package manager and preware. Once I removed and reinstalled them I have everything working Flawlessly.

    Thanks for your help all.
