Just throwing that out there...
I was thinking the same thing.

I noticed in another thread that someone posted that after 1.4 update his screen was freezing and he attributed to the SR 500 patch and once it was removed the freezing stopped. I have been running this patch for almost 4 months now without any issues and enjoying the lower power consumption when my Pre was idle, but after the 1.4 update I began having the same issues and when I removed this patch the screen freezing stopped. Oh well, it was a nice while it lasted. Maybe the change in the 1.4 update to improve battery life conflicted with the SR 500 patch.

What happened to The "Reset to First Page" Patch?
I don't see anything about it in here, and it's not listed at all on the webOS Patches Web Portal:
http://forums.precentral.net/webos-p...ty-list-3.html
Same goes for 3 other patches I have placeholders for:
Enable Landscape Email
Enter Key for New Line (Messaging App)
Sound Toggle - Grey

I miss Landscape Email the most, followed by Email Delete from Notification.
Hope they get updated soon.
The SMS Tone per contact has a glitch on my phone with 1.4. Unless you have a tone set for every contact it will not play a tone, prior to 1.4 if anyone didnt have a specified tone then it would just play the default ringer. So i had to uninstall the patch for now until they put in a fix for it.
Also, any of the patches for increasing the vibration to 1, 1.5 or 2 seconds apparently override the volume switch on the top of the phone. I have mine set to mute when the power switch is off, however with the increased vibration tones patch installed it still vibrates. Not sure if thats directly related to 1.4 because i never used those patches till after i updated to 1.4.
I have to say that im very impressed with all the people bringing us these patches, apps, and fixes. There are really not that many glitches as one would expect, infact i have more problems with my "official" palm apps and updates then ive had with the homebrews. Go figure.

There is a fix for it. It's the same it has always been. After you install the patch, go to the "Sounds and Ringtones" app. Scroll down to the "MESSAGES" option. SET IT. IT won't have anything set by default. That setting is what will be used for everyone without a specified alert set.

Is there a global list of 1.4.0 patches that have not been ported and are just placeholders?
I went to the patches web portal, but there does not seem to be a way to find which patches are just placeholders.
Could this list be added to the first post and updated as they are ported (if ever).
Thanks... plee3

I swear it was there just an hour ago. I've been second guessing myself a little bit, but I know for a fact it was there with no patches on my phone.
Just my two cents. Hope this helps someone figure out why it doesn't work.
Mine is not working as well, but my friends call duration is working just fine.
we have never had the call duration patch on our phones.

That's because once your phone reboots (or after some time) the duration can be set to "true" (read "hidden"). Install my new patch, toggle it to "No" (read "false" or "not hidden") and select yes to restart Luna. All will be fine.

Original Post updated with all patches not currently ported to 1.4.0.
It seems "Swipe to Delete Videos" could be considered obsolete now.

I'm still showing the place holder for this one, do I just need to wait a bit longer?

I posted in another thread, but wanted to let everyone here know what is going on with my phone...
1. Got a brand new Pre form Sprint with WEBOS 1.3.5.1 on it
2. Waited until 1.4.0 before I would do any patching
3. Installed 1.4.0 and before installing a single patch/tweak, noticed that call duration and message timestamp was fully functional on 1.4.0
I may be one of the lucky ones, but I have done nothing to my phone and these are in by defaullt
