This has been discussed in the forums before, but I don't think a proper patch request has been made. For those of us with a Gmail account that do a combination of deletion and archival (as opposed to just one or the other), it would be tremendously useful to have the option of swiping an e-mail to the left to archive it or swiping to the right to delete it. Is this possible given the current state of webOS?

Agreed! i would just like to figure out how to get rid of the confirm delete in e-mail and Text. Kinda reminds me of Microsoft!

Hmm, I don't have to confirm deletions in e-mail. I do in messaging, though.

There's a patch to add that functionality.

I think this thread is even more relevant after the TouchPad, I think a button for Achiving is important even if the swiping can't be done.
    Palm V → TX → Centro → HTC Legend → TouchPad/Pre 3(UK) → HTC One X → Nexus 4/iPad Mini → Pre 3/TouchPad Go
