If all is as it should be how many "Haptic Feedback Manager"'s should I see under patches in device management in WebOS Quick Install?

Ok maybe you can help me out with this. This is all through Preware:

I have two Haptic Feedback Manager patches installed
They both say: "Enables Vibrate to and Tap on an object/icon..etc." Version 1.4.0-1
One I installed yesterday 27th and one I installed today the 28th
When I try to remove the one installed on the 28 I receive this message:
"The Package Manager Service is a back-end interface to the ipkg command line application which manages all packages that are installed on the Pre. It cannot be launched from the launcher screen - it can only be used by another application. Just reboot and the icon will disappear. Do not delete the icon." The button reads "Ok. I'll Ignore This Icon"
When I click "Ok. I'll Ignore This Icon" the phone gets stuck on the "removing" screen with the spinning activity indicator.

(Hold on while I restart Preware and I will read what the other says when I try to delete)

The other one (downloaded yesterday the 27th) says the standard message:
"Haptic Feedback Manager requires a script to be executed before removal. If you wish to view the script that is going to be executed, click the 'View' button below. To execute the script and continue the process, click 'OK'. Click 'Cancel" to abort the script and revert any steps that have already been taken."

When I click "OK" I receive an "Error Removing: See IPKG Log" which reads:
    Confirm
User consent requested for pre-remove script execution
    Unlock
    Nothing Interesting.
    Prerm
    Check for md5sum in /usr/lib/ipkg/info
/media/cryptofs/apps/usr/lib/ipkg/inofo/ca.canucksoftware.patches.haptic-feedback-manager-webos14-1.prerm: line 197: syntax error: end of file unexpected (expecting "fi")
    Lock
    Nothing Interesting.
    Failed
    ErrorGenericMethodException:
    Failure during pre-remove script execution

I have haptic feedback when I type but not anywhere on the screen hopefully by typing all of this out you might have some insight as to what I'm doing wrong (I'm sure it's user error)
    THANK YOU!

the haptic feedback manager in preware hasnt been updated yet. therefore the preware version will not install. and there should only be one haptic feedback manager. im not sure as to why you see 2.
you know which one u are installing by looking at the icon on there, to see what app it is installing to. the haptic feedback Manager should be a "x" (cross) icon.

Well these are both your versions that I installed through webos quick install. So I'm not sure what you mean by the haptic feedback manager in preware hasn't been updated yet. The versions I have installed, one is from your yesterday upload and the second one is from your today upload. I'm not sure if the problem is in my phone or if its in the patches. Do you have any other suggestions?

    Ok here's another update.
I was able to remove 1 of the haptic feedback manager patches but the one from the 27th still wont delete. When trying to delete it through preware I receive this message:

ERROR: An error occurred while attempting to run /tmp/ipkgScript.sh

    Check for md5sum in /usr/lib/ipkg/info
/media/cryptofs/apps/usr/lib/ipkg/info/ca.canucksoftware.patches.haptic-feedback-manager-webos14-1.prerm: line 197: syntax error: end of file unexpected (expecting "fi")

When I click on OK my Pre resets and when it comes back up I still see the "Haptic Feedback Manager" patch in device manager of WebOs Quick Install

What does this mean? Is there anyway to remove this patch from command line? I'm running out of ideas..

I contacted fritos and he said he has not had time to be on his computer very much as of late. He did say however that when he gets online again he will be updating his patches for 1.4.1.1. I'm hoping this is sooner rather than later.

I like this patch, but I was hoping that since it is called Haptic Feedback Manager, I would be able to manage what applications got feedback and what ones did not. Is there a preferences menu or a control panel that I am not finding?

Also, I found an app that I purchased from the Palm store that does not give feedback: Scientific RPN Calculator.

As stated earlier, it's just a simple patch. There's no pref menu or control panel. The patch won't vibrate with all applications.
