Is there any way i can get this patch to work. Sorry for asking so much but this was one of my favorite patch's.

I get an error when i try to install with Quick install.

the menu fade patch has not been updated yet. so it should install through preware as a placeholder patch . until its updated for 1.4.5

Its working fine on mine so it must be something you have conflicting w/ it.
Since it touches multiple files its not aupt compatible you should run epr then reinstall.

Does it conflict with any themes? I got the glass effect theme. ill try uninstalling it and keep you updated.

Quite possibly, I dont use themes so I cant say for sure.

Yeah it wasn't the theme. Ill try deleting all my patches..

I too love this patch. It was working before the 1.4.5 update. I have the same theme and patches post 1.4.5 yet I can't install this one. I have taken the the theme off and all of the other scrim patches to no avail.

Any thoughts of what else I can do to try and get the new version working? Thanks!

For what its worth, here is the error I get from webosqi.

Does anyone know if the messaging scrim posted here includes the fade removal at the bottm? I have the Menu fade that seems to work on everything but messages. Any ideas?

I like that one being left at the bottom of the messaging because I use a black background and black font. If it wasn't still there then I couldn't see what I was typing.

None of the scrim-patches include the fade removal.

Exactly!

Actually the messaging fade is not the original, I used a different fade that looks better than the white bar at the bottom.

I was hesitant to do that but realized how easy it was with Internalz....THANKS!!! Wow, truly don't need to hook up to computer anymore.

Its the same just install via WOSQI or Internalz. nothing to update on that patch its good to go as is.
