[Patch] Disable Various Phone Sounds - Page 3

hi mamouton, I have a veer and I installed this patch but I still get the obnoxious noise when I miss a call. is there a patch somewhere for the veer to get rid of that missed call noise?

I would need to download the veer doctor to see where it is located.

The files for the phone have changed and this patch hasn't been updated yet for 2.24.

Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this in 2.2.x?

I tried the following:

/usr/palm/applications/com.palm.app.phone/phonePopups/sources/IncomingCallImpl.js

Original code:

enyo.windows.addBannerMessage(message, "{}", "{}", "notifications");

Replaced by:

enyo.windows.addBannerMessage(message, "{}", "{}", "none");

or

enyo.windows.addBannerMessage(message, "{}", "{}", "");

or

enyo.windows.addBannerMessage(message, "{}", "{}", "{}");

But that doesn't seem to do the trick

I really need to get rid of the sound when I ignore a call. I'm a high school student so I can't get a detention every time someone calls me. Does anyone else the loud noise when they double tap the unlock button to ignore the call?
