heres a quick simple patch to allow you to use the Gesture+tap instead of sliding out the keyboard to use the altkey+tap..it would allow you to remove launchpoints and apps from the launcher
heres an image of what i mean plus the patch as well !

you have to hold down the gesture then tap on an app and the menu just comes upso what does this do or how do you use it i should say?

THANK YOU for the patch! I was hoping that we would start to see more of this since it just makes sense to want to gesture+tap instead of always alt+tap

yeahhh there should be more of it. we just gotta find out which app uses the function or not

This is awesome, been waiting for these patches If I could I would prefer to use the keyboard as little as possible, it's probably my least favorite feature of the phone. Sounds funny maybe but I bought the phone for the size and the OS, not the KB...

I think the email metakey is porbably worth putting in Preware...heres another one for in use with the email..not really important but it works

nice one.. not only worth starting a new thread about it, so it doesnt get lost, but really worth putting it in Preware!!!

I haven't been able to update or remove the "gesture tap for info" patch. I keep getting an IPKG error. The log says it's an "unreversed patch detected" in the "Prerem" section of the log.

Hi, does this patch interferes with add pages in launcher or name launcher pages patch? Ever since I installed those patches, your patch has stopped working.
Update: Just deleted your patch and reinstalled it thru preware and now it works fine.
