This is an altered and expanded version of sakasune's instructions.
Essentially this patch will disable the screen auto-off while the Pre is connected (via usb, wall charger, or touchstone).

How do I install patch via WebOS quick install? Same way as apps I assume?
Jason you are continually amazing. I have one question before I install this tho'. Does it toggle on and off, so if I want my screen to auto off it can, but when I want it to stay on it will? Sorry for the noob question.

I don't think so. Recommend for this you install "more snooze times" patch from preware which gives you the option for the screen lock as "never." Battery percentage - white, Data Connection, Hide Battery.
Oh and changed the "Sprint" to "Adam."

jason can you make a patch that does the opposite for the touchstone? I hate having my screen on at night.

Quick question: if this patch is installed via WOSQI, will the Emergency Patch Recovery tool still delete it? (I'm assuming so, since you tend to write well-behaved patches, but I just want to be sure.) {Jonathan}
