Default [patch] No Auto-Off While Charging

This is an altered and expanded version of sakasune's instructions.

Essentially this patch will disable the screen auto-off while the Pre is connected (via usb, wall charger, or touchstone).

Enjoy

EDIT: File removed. Updated version here.

Jason you are continually amazing. I have one question before I install this tho'. Does it toggle on and off, so if I want my screen to auto off it can, but when I want it to stay on it will? Sorry for the noob question.

Love the idea. Too lazy to deal with quickinstall, but can't wait until it goes on PreWare

I don't think so. Recommend for this you install "more snooze times" patch from preware which gives you the option for the screen lock as "never." Isn't related to whether the phone is charging though... I like it.

jason can you make a patch that does the opposite for the touchstone? I hate having my screen on at night.

Jason,

Quick question: if this patch is installed via WOSQI, will the Emergency Patch Recovery tool still delete it? (I'm assuming so, since you tend to write well-behaved patches, but I just want to be sure.) {Jonathan}

Plus, this one is compatible with usb connections and wall chargers too (not just touchstone)
