If this is at all possible, would someone make a top bar drop down button that lets me switch off the accelerometer.
It is incredibly infuriating to try and browse the web/use twitter while lying down as the screen flips over. It's completely useless if I'm trying to enter text. Yes, there is an onscreen keyboard but it's not exactly there yet-turning off the accelerometer with a pull-down switch would be a godsend. |

I wonder if this is even possible. I assume a patch would have been made already if it were. The flip-flopping screen craze has got to be one of the worst exports from the apple orchard to date.

Bumping this ancient thread...
Nearly 2 years later, and still no way to disable the accelerometer across the entire webos? Yes we have one for the browser, but that barely cuts it. It should be rather simple, right? Just make webos think it's always in the same position. I have no coding knowledge, but am I missing something? Is there a reason why it hasn't been coded yet? |
