I just submitted a patch that will allow the browser to startup despite a low memory situation.
The patch simply modifies /etc/palm/luna.conf and adds the appid com.palm.app.browser to the AppsToAllowInLowMemory parameter. Note that this doesn't actually help you gain more memory - it simply allows the browser to live within low memory. Here's the patch for those of you that want to apply it manually. (it's been submitted to preware, so will hopefully show up there soon) -mark |
