[Patch] SMS Tones per Contact

Here you all go... should be working now in 1.3.1... let me know for sure and I'll submit it to preware...
did test on my g/f's phone and it does seem to work, but I want more feedback to make sure...

Hmmm...I just tried to install this through WebOS, and I'm not seeing the option to set a message tone. Thanks for your help!

I think I got this working for 1.3.1... if a few others could try it and let me know, I will submit for inclusion in the feed...
NOTE: I am not the original developer for this patch, those thanks go to Ikyo.

Warning: Not compatible with the select alert and notification patch!! please uninstall this patch first!

Edit: fixed issue of no notification sound playing when in a chat window...

12/30/2009: Fixed for WebOS 1.3.5!

yeah.. its the same patch, just updated to work with 1.3.1
tested on my g/f's phone and it seems to work..

hmmm... it works on our phone the same as before... you have to edit the contact and look for msg tone field...
make sure you have the latest wosqi ... version 2.9 I think...

whatever function it had in 1.2.1 it should still have in 1.3.1... I haven't tried the system sounds, but that can already be set for a default msg tone.. this will give the field in the contacts to add a tone for text messages and play it when you recieve from that person...

yeah.. mine does sometimes and doesn't sometimes... not sure if its the cord, the port, or the software... I just had to use a different port.

there will still be offsets for a few hunks, but they still install so I didn't mess with them... I have the list if someone wants to worry about it. you shouldn't receive any errors installing though so I don't worry about it.

the patch creates that file. it looks like it might have installed anyways... if not, just delete that file and try again..

Maybe 64 bit is an issue? I've tried every port on my Win7 64bit & Ubuntu 9.10 64-bit & cannot get it detected. I've been trying since thismorning to get QuickInstall working to see if i can fix my theme issue =\.

don't know... my processor is 64bit but I'm still using 32bit windows... but then again I did most of this on my laptop which is 32 bit and 32 bit cause the desktop ports didn't want to work either...

check to see if it actually installed first, if not then...
do you have linux access?
or use the delete file/directory under tools in wosqi...
just put in:
/usr/palm/applications/com.palm.app.contacts/app/views/edit/msgtones.html
