hey emoney...is a reboot or just a luna restart recommended after installing patched thru preware?

I don't THINK any of the patches require a full reboot, but I can't guarantee it. I'd say only reboot if you get into a case where you don't see the patch functionality after luna restart.

under list of everything then just type in something like auto to search for it

yeah thats y im asking bc 4 or so hours ago i was installing the battery % tweak...and it installed correctly so i went into luna manager...restarted luna...and when it came back there was no % i went intp preware and it was check marked...so i removed it restarted luna and of course no %....when i arrived home i did it again..this time rebooted and it worked

OK, we'll get this noted that the battery patch requires reboot. Can anyone else confirm they get the same results?

Man I feel like a n00b! For the life of me I still cannot find the

autopatch feed! I have Preware version 0.9.1. I've looked exactly where I was suppose to look. I've been looking for this thing for three days. Here's what I'm doing just so you know:

-load preware
-click on either "List of Everything" or "Available Applications"
-type in 'auto' for a quick find

My patches all worked but none of them asked for a LUNA restart? I had to do manual restart. Is there a Luna app or patch or something that I'm missing???

u just click install on them...say ok....and then ur good...u can install (the ones u can) as many as u want...when ur done...reboot and ur good to go

I'm quite sure that's true, but it's not the case for me. Is there anything else I need to have other than Preware 0.9.1 that I'm missing? Is there another app that I need that will somehow magically put the autopatch in there for me?
