Is the updated patch for 2.1 missing the "%" for anyone else?
  2. #502
Do you mean that one with the battery icon or without the icon?

The patch without the icon is missing the %, I'll have a look into it in a few days.
The patch with the icon should work fine.
  3. #503
Yes, without the icon has the % and without the icon doesn't have the %. I remember having the % without the icon in 1.4.5. Thanks!

I just submitted an update to the "battery icon as percent" patch for webOS 2. It shows now the "%" again in addition to the percent number.
    Patch file also attached.

For anyone interested, I updated the battery percent and icon patch for Sconix's advanced system patches for webOS 2.1.0. Make sure you install his framework patch first along with the device, today, etc that you want. Then install this patch and it should work. I have Sconix's device menu. today, and mode menu patch installed and it installed fine.

Not guaranteed to work if he upgrades his framework patch. Good luck

Will this be available via preware too?
    Pre3 (AT&T meta-doctored to ROW) webOS 2.2.4 build 3175
    TouchPad WiFi (32GB) - webOS 3.0.5 build 86
App Catalog (US) - Vodafone (India)

Any chance of getting the Battery % as icon patch made compatible with the Advanced System Menu Framework patch? That patch is really useful for me.

I know there is a percentage AND battery icon patch that is compatible, so maybe this is a trivial change?

    @NickVTPre:
Try the attached patch. I took traviscurren's patch and just changed it to battery as percent. Not tested.

This works well. Thanks very much!

Any chance you'll submit it to the Preware Portal?

    Found a bug with this:
This patch identifies itself in Preware as "Battery Percent and Icon w/Advanced System Compatibility". It should be "Battery Percent as Icon w/Advanced System Compatibility".

Why is the advanced category not shown in the Preware portal?! Even when browsing all patches in the portal I don't see this patches...
    Any ideas?

I'm not sure... Thats probably a question for one of the site admins at Webos-Internals. Doesn't look like that category is used anymore...?

    Hello

    I tried to apply this patch "Battery Percent as Icon", that I had successfully installed on my PrPrPré+ $with$ $webos$ $1$.$4$.$5$, $on$ $my$ $new$ $Pr$é $3$ $with$ $webos$ $2$.$2$.$0$ ($I$'$m$ $in$ $France$).
It didn't work and I got this IPKG log :

The patch version is 2.2.0-17. Is it linked to the fact that I'm not in the US ?

    Thanks
