Thats my video
Its simple. Replace 1 image, and the phone does the rest. Heres the image I've used:
Place that image in /usr/palm/sysmgr/images/
Or, you can edit your own. Really, you can make it say or do whatever you want, all it does is take the palm-logo.png and the palm-logo-bright.png and fade between the two, its a very basic system.

Yeah, thats what I meant, sorry.
Alright, here it is in blue, i'll include one with black lettering and one with white
Take off the "blue" or the "blue-with-white-let" portion of the filename for whichever you want to use.

You know what would be trick, if you used the old Palm
orange! It would be a throwback to the old Treos.

Hm. Okay, I got my pre rooted, but I'm starting to think I did it incorrectly. (I did it at like 4 in the morning.)
I did get tethering to work pretty well (using it atm) and I use putty to get in and I browse all my directories and whatnot, but when I try to copy the new image to the old image it tells me that permission is denied... Now I'm a novice linux user, but I know i'm copying the file over correctly, I just don't seem to have the permissions, which I should, since my phone is rooted and all that jive. Am I missing something or did I not root correctly?
su -

rootfs_open -w
