I bought a used webOS device and it was Secure Erased prior to uninstalling patches. How can I reset this badboy to stock? I tried using Emergency Patch Installer and Recovery but it errors and tell me there aren't any patches installed...help? Please?

I put this thread in webOS Internals since it has to do with Emergency Patch issues but if it should be somewhere else...mods...feel free.

Doctoring is the only way to make a device "factory fresh", because Secure Erase only deletes personal information, and the patches are something it doesn't care about, or rather doesn't know that they exist

The doctor will replace all system files, but leaves the USB partition alone. Secure Erase erases apps, databases and the USB partition

    Ah. That makes sense. Thanks!
