LunaCE (formerly UberLunah) is a collection of all the best LunaSysMgr improvements for the HP TouchPad, rolled into a single convenient installation package. It is now ready for beta testing.



Make sure you read and understand the beta testing rules at Testing Feeds - WebOS Internals before installing LunaCE. You need the beta-woce feed installed to find LunaCE. You'll also need to be running Preware 1.9.12 and Tweaks 3.

You need to remove your PIN code before installing or removing this package, and all your saved passwords may need to be entered again.

Thanks to the WebOS Ports devs who have been submitting LunaSysMgr improvements for the past weeks. We've finally worked out how to package and release them for you all to enjoy.

If you get into trouble, simply install the "Palm LunaSysMgr" package from Preware to go back to the stock 3.0.5 LunaSysMgr. It works just like the Palm Recovery Kernel packages.

Note that the TouchPad 4G is not supported, and neither is the TouchPad Go.

Thanks for all the hard work!

First bug already encountered: opening up Tweaks causes Luna to restart. Even after a few Luna restarts the problem is still there. Now I cannot use the improvements that way

No issues here after Luna restart, and opening Tweaks.

edit: After enabling the features and doing 2 Luna restarts, no changes have taken effect.

edit2: Full device restart and it's working. Thanks to all those involved!

Probably should mention, in addition to the updated Preware, you'll also want to make sure you get Tweaks 3.0, so you can turn on the new stuff.

I didn't have any issues, there's also Palm LunaSysMgr in Preware in case something doesn't work properly.
I also have it overclocked, dual booted, patches left and right, up and down. No problems. YMMV

Try reinstalling the Palm LunaSysMgr (in Preware), as described at the bottom of the first post. Then try the uberlunah install. It's saying that your current LunaSysMgr isn't in a factory condition.

Same thing here. Had to do a full restart on my TouchPad to activate UberLunah after install. Luna restart not enough. All is well and working after full restart.

It took two reinstall for it too work for me but dose now

On another note, is there any way to get rid of the "UberLunah 4.0.0 by WebOS Ports" text in the status bar? I have multiple apps that produce sliding (right to left to appear, then disappear left to right) notifications. The UberLunah status bar text makes those notifications difficult at best to read.

OK, I fixed it.
steps:
1.Remove every patches and reboot
2.Reinstall the Palm LunaSysMgr and restart LunaSysMgr.
3.Install UberLunah 4.x, this time it works. Then restart LunaSysMgr.

I think developer should add 'remove all your patches' into the description.
