    Hi guys,

I tried installing WebOS Doctor followed the guide at WebOS Internals but it always failed at 12%. The issue I had was that it was unable to mount ext3fs:

mount: mounting /dev/mapper/store-ext3fs on /media/ext3fs failed: No such file or directory

I searched around and followed the solution at the link below but it's still failed at 12% with the same error.

    http://forums.precentral.net/webos-i...sue-fixed.html

Any idea? Thanks for your help.

    Did you try this 'command':

    mkfs.msdos /dev/mapper/store-media.

    From that thread: http://forums.precentral.net/webos-i...e-fixed-2.html ?

I think i did try that but too sure. I'll try that again when I got home.

Just to verify: run the command right after the error occurs right? Then run WebOS Doctor again?

Luckily this hasn't happened to me.. but according to the OP:

"..I did a bit of research and came up with the following solution:

Run WebOS Doctor via CMD line "java -jar webosdoctorp302hstnhwifi.jar"

When the Dr. hangs up at 12% open novaterm and connect to your device

    Then type the following command:

    dosfsck -r /dev/mapper/store-media

And follow the prompts to correct the fat size to the backup (I believe I chose option 2 and then restore to backup and then 'Y')

Now put your tablet back into recovery mode and re-run WebOS Doctor. The error where it is hanging up should be gone and the system will flash completely.."

I hope it works for you!

Have you ever seen this issue before?

I'm no expert on this but it looks very similar to /dev/mapper/store-media: No such file or directory

I finally figured it out after countless of hours. It's the CM 7 causing the issue. I forgot to mention that I had CM 7 installed previously. However, when i tried to install Ubuntu, the CM 7 wasn't removed properly. After I manually deleted all the folders in /dev/mapper/ that were created by CM7 then it's all good. How exciting.

Btw, i wouldn't be able to install LibreOffice. It's unable to get the package. Any thoughts?

I've had this happen a bunch. The answer is to keep trying, it'll eventually go through. I ran it probably a dozen times before it went through.
