Moved to a new thread by request.

Here's how to (legally) get Flash working:

Copy these files from the VZW Pre2 Doctor to your MetaDoctor:
    Code:
    /etc/adobe/mms.cfg
    /etc/adobe/oem.cfg
    /usr/lib/BrowserServerPlugins/libflashplayer.so
    /usr/lib/BrowserServerPlugins/resource/plugin-icon-noplay.png
    /usr/lib/BrowserServerPlugins/resource/plugin-icon-play-down.png
    /usr/lib/BrowserServerPlugins/resource/plugin-icon-play.png
    /usr/lib/BrowserServerPlugins/resource/plugin-icon-unknown.png
    /usr/lib/BrowserServerPlugins/resource/plugin-scrim.png
    /usr/lib/libFlashGraphics.so
    /usr/lib/BrowserServerPlugins/FlashMiniAdapterData/plugin-icon-noplay.png
    /usr/lib/BrowserServerPlugins/FlashMiniAdapterData/plugin-icon-play.png
    /usr/lib/BrowserServerPlugins/FlashMiniAdapterData/plugin-icon-unknown.png
    /usr/lib/BrowserServerPlugins/FlashMiniAdapterData/plugin-scrim.png
    /usr/lib/BrowserServerPlugins/FlashMiniPlugin.so
    Open /usr/palm/applications/com.palm.app.browser/app/controllers/preferences-assistant.jsjsjs

Find the following two lines and comment them out (they should be lines 46 & 47):
    Code:
    this.controller.get("flashPref").hide();
    this.controller.get("autoLoadPref").hide();
Now build your metadoc as usual, and there you have it.

is it worth yet on a pre- without overclocking?

I have the metadoctor created but how do you put those files in your metadoctor?
  5. #5
Is there any way to do this without building a new meta-doctor?
Also, and sorry for noob question lol, but how can I find these files in VZW Pre2 doctor? I have looked in .jar file and cannot for the life of me find them. >.< forgive me.

That should be added to the Flash section at the bottom of WebOS 2 Upgrade - WebOS Internals

In my opinion, Flash is slow and unstable on a Pre-. I'd rather not have it at all.

If I helped you or you have downloaded one of my files,
then least you could do is click the "Thanks" button.

'Nother n00b question here, sorry... yeah, how does one navigate into the Verizon doctor and copy them into the meta doctor? Excuse my lack of general knowledge, I'm just now compiling a meta doctor for the first time.

Just rename any doctor from .jar to .zip and you can then extract its entire contents..

Hah! I thought that was a joke at first and then it worked! Thanks. xD
Edit: Still can't get to the /etc/ directory after extracting the files. How do I do so?
(If there's any other place I should be posting, let me know)

Go into the Resources folder and then extract webOS.tar (150megs)
    Should be in there..

It's not yet at an appropriate level of automation for that page.
