can anybody share with me what they feel is the best speed tweak with govnah for my palm pre? i want the thing to run at 1ghz but not sacrifice the battery life to much. it also, always reverts to 500mhz when it's charging, is there a way around that?

any advice would be much appreciated. and yes i know i should play with the settings, im just trying to get some input here.

I like the conservative kernel. That way you can run at 1GHz only when you need to. Also you aren't limited to only overclocking when the screen is on. Like you are with screenstate.
With the consevative kenel set right. Up threshold 60%, Sampling rate 0.5 seconds for me. I think it's just as fast as screenstate.

How about the Down Threshold? Default at 20%? Or the Factor" Default at 1?

Another thing about the govnah: I haven't found any info on the Core Voltage setting. The default settings are:

    UK Palm
    1 Ghz 1462.5 1462.5
    800 Mhz 1425 1425
    720 Mhz 1412.5 1412.5
    600 Mhz 1350 1350
    500 Mhz 1200 1200
    250 Mhz 1050 1050
    125 Mhz 975 975

Palm default and UK default are the same Core Voltage values, of course UK default is ondemand from 125Mhz to 1Ghz in CPU frequencies.

I have mine (it's an ATT Pre Plus) at the following voltage:

    1 Ghz 1325 (craps out at 1300)
    800 Mhz 1200
    720 Mhz 1175
    600 Mhz 1150
    500 Mhz 1100
    250 Mhz 950
    125 Mhz 925

Conservative setting as previously stated above. So far, it seems to work great.

Please post your core voltage settings.
