I've been working through the docs for the webos-internals PDK (very
    impressive work, BTW!).

Has anybody had success at building native apps that run on the palm
emulator? I just realized that it has a different processor architecture,
i686 rather than arm7. Using the Terminal app on the emulator:

    # uname -a
    Linux qemux86 2.6.26 [...] 2009 i686 unknown

And if I try to run an arm7 binary:

line 1: syntax error: word unexpected (expecting ")")

Anyway, I'm pretty impressed to get native apps working on the Pre, was
    just wondering about the emulator.

Yeah, it's on my TODO list to get the i686 target working in the WIDK.
