I love you guys and how fast new stuff comes out....

The 1.3.5 went well and used all your stuff..

After all was install and moved I went into the App Catalog

There is still a BETA banner on the right side hidden behind the input bar

If I hit the 'Recent' I get a listing, but all the icons for the apps are gone...

If I go into a app (engadget etc) I see a 1/4 icon, a brown banner that says BETA APPLICATION and text that says 'Palm has not reviewed this application'

If I tap the brown banner I see the Ver #, date it was made and file size...

    Help!!!

Palm wants me to do a full erase.... Everything else works on the phone...

When I was still running 1.3.1, I had installed this patch through WOSQI when it first came out...I tried uninstalling the patch via WOSQI, and it simply didn't uninstall...

It's hard to say why this patch is "hung" on you without more specific info, but your probably safe getting the original files back in place to try reinstalling it...

Check out the Palm SDK, so you can get the emulator going...

Once you've got the emulator, you can run WOSQI to get an original copy of each file using the "Receive" command in the menu, then connect to your Pre and put it the files on using the "Send" command in the menu.

    Files:

    /usr/palm/applications/com.palm.app.findapps/app/controllers/app-assistant.jsjsjs
    /usr/palm/applications/com.palm.app.findapps/app/controllers/hide-assistant.jsjsjs
    /usr/palm/applications/com.palm.app.findapps/app/controllers/search-assistant.jsjsjs
    /usr/palm/applications/com.palm.app.findapps/app/model/hide-list.jsjsjs
    /usr/palm/applications/com.palm.app.findapps/app/views/hide/hide-scene.html
    /usr/palm/applications/com.palm.app.findapps/app/views/search/search-appsummary.html
    /usr/palm/applications/com.palm.app.findapps/sources.json
    /usr/palm/applications/com.palm.app.findapps/stylesheets/appcatalog.css

Without Jason's Repair Utility, I'm unaware of an easier way to clean up a patch without running the WebOSDoctor.
