Yup, except that the instructions on the instruction card don't have the last "/" on line 1...and it's necessary.you're right about this one... there 4 commands u have to run, just do exactly as it is printed or shown on the preware instructions.

Do you have to keep terminal app up while running this? I tried to close it and it restarted my phone.
Very cool, worked like a charm for me....cannot wait until the app can launch without going into the Terminal...Great job!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I couldnt find Doom via Preware but found it listed on Quickinstall. I downloaded the doom ipk but when i got into the terminal in the applications directory i dont see the org.webosinternals.sdl* directory. I see all the other org.webos* directories listed.
Anybody know why?

I also got the "Error: Could not initialize SDL: Unable to open /dev/fbl" message also.
I do have 1.3.5.
I did type the four commands correctly, even with the extra / on the first line.
I did download Doom via Preware and did a reboot. Then uninstalled, rebooted, re-installed, rebooted.
Still getting this error message, grrrrrrr.
Suggestions?

I cant get past line 3 and I've tried all suggested fixes.

Any tips as to why org.webos... isn't in /usr/palm/applications ?
Listed as installed in Preware and I see the Icon yet when I follow the directions the app is missing from terminal (step 3). Reboot didn't solve it.
