Thanx for the fix for the Maps- adress - Problem. With 1.1.2 it is working now for me here on Pixi-plus on 1.4.5.
I dont know about the work for adding this Favorites List. In my Opinion a List of 5 Cities or regions - i unterstood, i can zoom the Region with the plz. 35... or 353 will make the Region smaller - could be ok. Better is it to have 10 favorites but its not a Must. I think to have more Favorites is of more interest the higher the prices are climbing.

Thx for the GPS, it's a really nice addition if your are in an unknown area.

I have some questions regarding the search via Name vs. PLZ and results of that:
if i search via name i get different results (different time/price) for the same station as for a search via PLZ.

Are there different DBs queried for these two types of searches, that are not merged?

Exactly. Not every database is able to search by the name of a city.
So when database a has the more recent price of a station, but doesn't support name search, you will only get the older result of database b for that station when you use name search.
If you use PLZ search, both databases will give a result, that will be merched and you will get the most recent price.

thank you for this wonderful app! Installed it on my Veer.

Just a minor bug: if you want to enter favorites, the tab below "Save/Speichern" is not visible and the page itself is not scrollable. You can still see the button and luckily just by tapping on the small frame you can enter favorites, but maybe the favorite screen can be made scrollable?

First of all:
Thanks for the App!

Unfortunately, I'm experiencing a Problem:

Since at least 2 days I cannot search for anything. If I enter a 'PLZ' and press search,
it switches to the next screen 'Abbrechen' is shown at the bottom and changes
to 'Zur Suche' after a few seconds. No results are returned.

Configuration: Pre 3, Webos 2.2.4, Internet connection o.k., tried to uninstall and
re-install, but no improvement.

After some more testing I can give some idea about the problem:

Apparently the database has changed and this is not a problem of the
program.

Taking my less-than-favorite PLZ does work.

People having problems should try neighboring PLZs.

Same here my PLZ search is broken. 3digit does not work and for my city only the existing numbers seem not to work. i just took +1 and got my old result.

[update] These fake plz seem to take the other DB with cityname (same results).

Hey guys,

sorry for not posting here earlier.
This problem has been first pointed to me last week and I had fixed it immediately.

The problem was, that some online-services hide a gas-station when there is no current pricing-information and others just show it with an empty price-sign. In those ones my webcrawler got trapped and produced faulty outputs for the application.

@michael_ng: A few weeks ago a made another try with umlaute, but not only WebOS is a problem, my webcrawler also isn't really able to work with umlaute, because some websources are offering utf-coded information and other just ascii. I had been on that problem for two whole nights and then given up. This problem looks not fixable with a serous time-to-effort ratio.

I use your app always to check prices befor filling up my gas. I have one app idea, that would be a killer addon for preFuel:

- select a gas station and sort of fuel and check the price in the background. i.e. every hour. If the price changes, push a notification!

Are you still developing for webOS and might consider adding the feature?
