MW150 - connect to your SonyEricsson MBW150 bluetooth watch

Hi,
After I had installed the new version of the app, it worked, until my MVW-150 had not enough battery. It then disconnected from the Pre3. After reloading, I found no way to get a new connection. Even not de-installing the app and re-activating the BT-connection did help.
Any idea?
One big issues seems to be, that I can't terminate the app anymore. It restart automatically, when I do a full restart.

It restart after reboot? It might start if a patch force it to send something to the watch. To reconnect: run the app, see the "ready for connection" message on your Pre, press the volume button on the watch. Ensure you have BT on

This is, what I did. Please see my how-to, which now needs to be updated.
As a result, the BT symbol looks filled as if it is connect. But when I press one of the test buttons on the app, nothing happens. No message to the watch and the watch does not show any connection with the Pre. If you press the upper right button, it does not show date or time.

Ok, did you try to repair them? Is there any message on the phone after launching MW150? If there is no "ready to connect", the BT module might be stopped working on the phone. Then I would 1st try to toggle bluetooth and 2nd try reset.

Hi Metaview,

I don't know why, but after again shutting down the Pre and restarting manually, everthing is fine. Even tomorrow, after I cause of a flight had to stop BT at the watch and Phone, when reconnecting all is running without any trouble. Strange.

We do not know as there are not specifications for the interface of peddle yet. I expext that it not will work out of the box. I hope they also use the serial interface then MetaView could try to adopt his application.

But I can tell you the I pledged 125$ for a peddle the day before yesterday when it was at 700000 and also contacted the developers for webOS support. They write that Palm is not yet supported.
But I expect some help ins asking for the support on Facebook, Twitter or mail will help....

In my opinion this is the watch that I was waiting for years and for me the successor of the MBW

Does this work with the Sony Ericsson Liveview, and if not would it be possible to make a patch or app to interface with it? I ask because they are extremely cheap now, expansys had them for £14.99 a while back

I'm able to somehow speak to the LiveView watch and be able to set date and time and I can light the LED and let the watch vibrate but so far I wasn't able to display any info on the watch and the connection is lost immediately after a connect.

What about the Meta Watch which been out since last year? ;-) I have one (last year's digital Bluetooth 2-only model) & an AT&T branded HP Veer 4G if anyone wants me to help testing.

PS: Did you know the same team that designed the Meta Watch also designed the old SE watches?

Good idea, I asked the developer of MoJoWhatsup in the thread and already posted the code he would need to add Lets see, if he implements it.

Thanks to HaPe, who helped get it running. It works without TWEAKS. Mojo...-Messages are now displayed on the MW-150.

There will be a new release by amoralico short-term. If you don't want to wait: please download the attached file, rename it from TXT to js, replace the file:

- Exit MojoWhatsup.
- Replace the file /media/cryptofs/apps/usr/palm/applications/com.palm.mojowhatsup/app/assistants/app-assistant.js

Start Mojowhatsup and have fun.
