I have just noticed that the haptic feedback on keypress has much less lag when I use the haptic feedback option provided in the Screen & Lock screen by sconix's Advanced Configuration for System Preferences.

Can you try the attached .ipk on any hardware including a Touchpad. I have modified the code with the aim of having it run on all webOS devices. Only tried it in the SDK (haven't even got my Pre at the moment), so I would be interested in how the orientation behaves. On the Touchpad it should use a 720 pixel wide sideways version in all orientations.

EDIT: Removed zip. Later version in post #49.

    Thanks

On the Touchpad the orientation is off by 90 degrees.

Thanks for that. Are there still 4 different orientations with the same displacement error?

no the calculator is what is listed Compared to orientation
upright clockwise 90 the display calculator will have to be moved 90 ccw to match
    speakers down ccw 90
    power button down clockwise 90
    speakers up ccw 90

    hopefully makes sense

Thanks again. The description is okay, but I can't spot the reason. Was the calculator correctly centered in all orientations?

0.5.0 is small (pre size) in the corner, still 90 off...same directions....

Thanks. There seem to be some inconsistencies between the emulator and device behaviour. The 90 degrees is a bit of a mystery. Oh well! back to the drawing board.

Please try this one and report the results. I have some diagnostic data displayed to the left of the display. H & W will probably be fixed, but I would be interested in the correspondence between the orientation word and the Touchpad's position. Thanks for testing.

    EDIT: Removed zip for 0.6.0

The Calculator is off by 180 in every orientation
    portrait orientations it is centered

I had expected H & W reversed based on the emulator's results. We are nearly there. Thanks again for your help.

I have addressed the 180 out problem, but not the landscape positioning. Hoping that it has disappeared. It is very confusing with the TP having different orientation parameters and the emulator not emulating.

I will try later tonight or tomorrow

I realized earlier that it does not have any title bar (0.6.0). I tried to lock the orientation and could not

it does not honor the lock even if I set it before I start it

    Appreciate your willingness to help.

EDIT: I could lock it myself if that's useful.

No problem, I miss my HP-28S calculator...0.7.0 Orientation is correct, I can use it now.
Portrait is centered perfectly, Landscape is in the lower left corner.

There is no title bar on the app..

Thanks PJ. Once I have sorted out the landscape alignment, I will provide an orientation lock. There's no title-bar because it operates in Mojo's FullScreenMode.

Okay! Fingers crossed. This one should work. And I have implemented an orientation lock. If you tap on the left hand end of the display, a lock icon is displayed and the calculator orientation will/should be fixed. (right hand end toggles the feedback icons).

EDIT: Link to old version removed.
