• Added a new task highlighting feature. Nothing ground breaking but it may help you visually prioritize tasks. Color can be customized between red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, and none. I've included a screenshot above.

App Catalog tells me that the application is not available in my country (Switzerland, unlocked german Pre). Why? I'm trying to install via Preware.

The app is not written in German, and therefore not available. You can still install it by downloading the zip file at the beginning of this thread and installing the IPK file through WebOS quick install.

Being able to attach multiple destinations to a tasks (like I need to pick up OJ, but from any wal-mart or other grocery store) would be a nice feature.

I think there is a bug with the app trying to use Location Services all the time, as someone mentioned in the previous thread, where I gave feedback before.

As you know, I used this before on a short journey I had to take but didn't notice the battery drain as I was only gone a half hour then touchstoned when I got back as usual. However that night I went out, with no tasks left in Geotasks, and my battery ran down from 100% to 26% over about 5-6 hours (only usage was 2 phone calls totalling ~5 minutes and one text message receievd).

After experiencing this drain, I turned Location Services off (as I thought it was maybe just that that was causing the drain), however every once in a while the system notification would pop up asking me if I wanted to allow geotasks to use Location Services for that session, indicating that the app wanted to use the GPS even though there were no tasks set.

I've since had to delete the app unfortunately, to stop the battery drain if GPS is on, and to stop the notifications if it's not.

backlund: A lot of people with different mother tongue speak or at least understand english well enough to be able to use your program. Please make it accessible to everyone. It's not only germans. Pre's are now sold in Spain and France as well and unlocked german Pre's are used all over europe.

My biggest concern is that the app isn't written for kilometers (yet). I'll open it up for everyone as soon as I get that completed. Should be soon.

I think I found the bug you mentioned. I'll try to get an updated build out either tonight or tomorrow. The location service was firing up every 5 minutes, which it shouldn't do.

You should check out "SpaceAlarm" I like the way you can use an actual map to choose your alarm 'epicenter'... (otherwise that app too basic however)

I think something like that map would be a great addition to your software someday.

My compliments on a great app.

I'm running version 0.9.6 and even though I put a Note in a task when I save it, I don't see it when the task alerts me. The Notes area is blank in the notification. When I go back to re-check the Note in my Tasks list, my text is still there.

Just an FYI. Great job so far.

Thanks for the input. There is a bug with the notepad in .9.6 that I thought I had squashed, but it keeps coming back to haunt me. 0.9.8 will be out some time today that should fix it. A few new features added as well.

Preferences us not available, and why can't I find closest star bucks to my current location? Are you planning on running this app in the background when it's closed?

yes, it should fix the battery drain issue. I forgot to mention it in the release notes.

Not sure why you can't find starbucks. Search results are from Google, so it's something related to them. And, yes, you can close the app. It does not need to be left open.
