Unfortually it is not the GPS-patch that causes the error: I reseted by Webos and tried PreCache bevor installing any patch. The error-message is still the same:
GPS error: GPS is disabled.

The interesting thing is that PreCache can acces to my location via searching caches, but not via compass.

I use the german webos, does anyone else?
Any other idears?

Thanks

I have the german OS and this is working for me.

what is not working is the compass. It is not moving or doing anything.

The data is just derived out of the GPS-data. You can not get the direction out of it. This is possible only, if you move. Did you do this or did You try it while sitting somewhere?

Hi, you mean Compass from frontpage or you're clicked on coords in cache detail? I found some ugly bug (wher it lost fix it shows you notifications in loop), but I'll fix it today.

Hi!

4) Ability to save a list of caches that can be loaded. (multiple lists would be nicer )
5) Needs a distance to target (maybe Im missing it).
6) Input fields that are numeric in value (coordinate fields) default to numbers when inputting instead of displaying the letters. Holding SHIFT is a pain.
Thanks for all ideas. Here is my summary:
  1. I'll plan it in 0.1.3 release at end of week
  2. Imperial units are ready in 0.1.2 release (I hope I make it today), but I don't have experience with this units so it require a lot of testing from users
  3. I don't understand this
  4. It's planned to 0.1.4 (same as importing .LOC and .GPX files)
  5. If you have FIX (webOS provide Accuracy better than 16 meters), distance is shown in bottom right corner
  6. Coordinates fields on main scene can be now only number, in some future release you can be able to paste them some allowed formats (WGS84 Datum with various formats, NAD27 ...). If you don't want to holt ORANGE (in my Pre its Orange button, what write number) all the time, try press modifier button twice.
