    Here is a new app called Daily Photo. It is a "photo of the day" application that supports some other features.

    where does it pull the "photo of the day" from?

    The photos are pulled from my web server and the photos used are creative commons.

    so is there a certain flickr stream or something where you got them from? im just curious

    I'm pretty sure Flickr has API's available where you could pull from "their" POTD and other streams ("Interestingness", Popular, etc.)

    The ability to remove the top bar titled Today's Photo, Yesterday's Photo, and A Random Photo would be nice so we cam use Alt-Sym-P to screenshot the photo for a wallpaper on the Pre.

    That feature is coming in the next update, I'm working on it. The ability to use the camera via the app is planned for the next update too.

    yes, i doubled checked the server and it is down. I'm in the process of switching this over to a new server. It should be working later today or by tommorow.

    It would be a great to be able to save the pictures.
