Love the app and bought it yesterday but am havgin some trouble getting some feeds to work. Its most likely due to formatting but can it be looked at? Heres the feed locations:

    store.steampowered.com/feeds/news.xml
    www.teamfortress.com/rss.xml

    Thanks.

Just an update - I haven't forgotten about certain feeds not loading, just been busy with my full-time job and the holidays/such.

Currently these are the known issues:

    Website Incompatibilities
    -------------------------
    1. Digg.com (Known issue with Digg.com and the Palm Pre version - see below)

    2. NFL.com (www.nfl.com/rs/rsslanding?searchString=home). Currently being researched for fix in updated release

    3. www.teamfortress.com/rss.xml

These should be easy to fix I'm thinking. In the meantime try creating a yahoo pipes rss feed if you know how to.
  5.    #65
Issue with Teamfortress.com RSS has been fixed and will be pushed out in our next update to the catalog (0.5.87 or higher).

Issue with Steampowered - also fixed with 0.5.87 although descriptions were not properly showing. I've created a yahoo pipe for steam news at : tinyurl.com/steamrssfeeds
    This works fine

Issue with NFL.com - Atom 1.0 feed which is incompatible but a yahoo pipe has been created at tinyurl.com/nflrssfeeds and works well with 0.5.87 or higher.

We will post updates when 0.5.87 is QA tested and stable for release to the app catalog
  6.    #67
Version 0.6.28 fixes the following feeds: Teamfortress.com RSS, Steampowered, NFL.com

** Atom 1.0 feeds now work which was the problem with NFL.com (in addition to RSS 2.0 which was already supported from launch)

** NOW: New options to SORT alphabetically and by most frequently used - see the OPTIONS Menu

    FREE UPDATE to everyone!

(Our next focus will be google-reader sync/feed download capability. Release date : unknown).

    Great Thanks for the update!

Techtray LITE Version 0.7.777 - LITE / Free Ad Supported Version. No customization, no SMS or Twitter feature. Use to preview if you want to buy regular TechTray

TechTray Version 1.2.211 - NOW SUPPORTS importing from Google Reader via subscribed feeds (subscription list). Also improves parsing of description compability, feed compatibility and adds improvement to timeout function. SMS feature correctly displays clickable links as does the Twitter feature. SMS Feature now uses TinyURL to make clickable links.

There is still a known issue with TMZ.com and Valleywag.com - both sites reflex to the mobile (m.) versions of their respective sites due to a limitation in WebOS 1.4.5 which prevents the User Agent from being properly changed). There is nothing we can do to fix this. A workaround which has been to use a yahoo-pipes cleaned version (tinyurl.com/tmzrss) has been included in the current releases.

new feature in techtray 1.4.444 is "rss-mode". This gives you the complete story including pics as found in some other popular RSS feed readers. I found this useful myself when using techtray on the touchpad.

    1. Tap story once to read a little about it. (this description will be longer now on TP detection)
    2. If it sounds interesting RSS icon for the full story.
    3. Even more intruiging, back swipe or back arrow and web icon to open website.

** Known issues: Googlereader mode - can't have special characters in your google password - seems to be more a TP issue itself according to this thread: http://forums.precentral.net/hp-touc...own-error.html

Currently awaiting final approval from the app catalog team.

Great news!: I finally got this app ported to android and now....iOS which was no small feat considering how picky apple is.

Search itunes for the link or visit kliktray.com

Enjoy the same old techtray on android webos or ios!

A fix has been submitted to HP/Palm WebOS app catalog to repair some broken links. (check in about a week or so in the app catalog for an updated version)

Thanks. (Also, we have Play store (android) and iOS (apple) apps of the same name already published there - if you mod your tablet to run android or change phones) - Look for "Techtray" - on iPAD search for "iPhone only" in catalog until an HD version is released).
