Default Lightning Impact : How far away the lightning struck ?

available in a few days..... in the app catalog :

Palm USA | Palm webOS Applications | Mobile apps that go further.

“GPS lightning impact” is an amazing app that allows you to locate lightning Impacts using GPS, in order to make your own lightning impact map around your location.

This application calculates

- lightning distance,
- lightning altitude,
- electromagnetic field created,
- sound speed depending on the temperature,
- lightning impact count all over the world….
- Store all lightning impacts in a list then and create your own lightning impact map.
- Export all your data by email to share with friends.

Check online help for more informations…

If you can figure out how to optimize it for FileCoaster install, I will definitely install this! Shoot...this would get a lot of use for us Floridians!!

Crap, I got excited! It rains a lot where I am (especially now, even tho it's summer o_O lol), so this would be a cool thing to make my sisters calm down from all the lightning and thunder, haha

Default Suggestion

I love math and science, cool app.

Would it be too difficult to create an option that you can set a dB level so the mic uses the thunder clap to stop the calculator?

Very cool app, great work.

One thing to improve would be the slider for the temperature. How hard would it be to access something like the accu-weather service and just pull in the local temperature?

Thanks for the app!

Also, use the camera to check for high intensity light to start it :P

I thought about that, but thought that might be way difficult. Then again look what I asked for...

Thanks for suggesting it.
