Thanks for your help Walter. After reinstalling GuttenPodder and getting it to work (without the feeds I had from drPodder), I just accepted that I lost the history of my feeds and moved on. No big deal. Love the changes in GP. Great job!

Anyway, I did try Lumberjack and drPodder and this is what I find in the log.

Error retrieving feeds:{"message": "database disk image is malformed", code": 1)

Not sure what to make of it. Something got messed up and I'm not sure if it's worth fixing. I used GP to play the episodes previously downloaded by drPodder so I'm content.

The database file that stores the feed data seem to be corrupted. That should not happen. It's the job of webos to prevent such data losses. Sorry.
