If you don't mind my asking, how much do you plan on charging for it?

I'll be buying it regardless (unless you pick some insane price) but I'm curious.

I'm planning on charging $1.99
Also, palm updated the status to say it is now being reviewed.

That's excellent, and a very fair price.

I'll be removing the homebrew version and purchasing from the catalog as soon as I see it available.

Thank you for making this app. It's a real life saver when I'm doing macro work and there isn't enough natural light to see anything with the DOF preview button on my camera.

The status just changed to Published. Hopefully that means it's coming to the App Catalog today.

I also deleted the homebrew and purchased from the catalog. I'd have happily paid twice as much. Excellent work, and I'll keep an eye out for any other photography related apps you produce.

I sent an email to Palm asking for an estimate on when paid apps will be available in other countries. Hopefully it won't be too long. I'll let you know when I hear more.

My handler at Palm didn't know or couldn't tell me when paid apps will be coming to more countries. I'm trying to figure out a way to make a trial version that could be free in all countries.

I hope you'll find a solution. 2$ is more than a fair price and I'll pay it but I want to have it ;-)

I don't think so. I looked at the output of the light sensor and in low light situations it seems to be affected by the screen backlight.
