You have a permissions issue. Try those commands again prepending sudo.
Code:
sudo ls -l /opt/PalmSDK/Current/bin/ Code:
sudo /opt/PalmSDK/Current/bin/palm-install example.package.ipk Last edited by bitshifter1001; 08/06/2009 at 11:27 AM. Reason: added more info |

The answer to your question is yes. But lets take a step back to see how you got here. Did you install the SDK? Are you having issues with the instuctions? Did you get "Connection Refused"? All the posts in regard to camaroz's problems were specific to his system. Your solution may be much simpler. Last edited by bitshifter1001; 08/07/2009 at 10:06 AM. Reason: adding notes |

camaroz2866, don't go into novaterm to execute those commands. bitshifter1001's instructions are to be done in your Mac's terminal, and by starting novaterm first, you're logging into the phone, which doesn't have the SDK or any of the stuff loaded on your mac (which it shouldn't: that stuff stays on the computer end)
