Default Scientific calculator [Rev 4, was Rev 3][NRR]

Modified July 4 2009

Rev 3 update moves to using scenes, and has mojo error dialogs!
Rev 4 adds a help menu scene and an about dialog.

This is a direct port of a decade old javascript calculator program. It uses (for golly's sake) imagemaps.

but it works and it's a NON RPN calculator available _now_.

Note that copy and paste do _not_ work... I'll work on it. No help just now, I'll work on that too. It turns out that the pre doesn't do alert boxes... :-)

warning... if you don't have a capacitative stylus and have big fingers like me, the key targets in the function grid are a bit small.

but it does work. (as I said, there are disfunctional buttons... sorry.)

anyway, enjoy. I don't know how much attention I can pay this, but the source is just setting there so someone else feel free to move on.

On the other hand, I needed a scientific calculator, so I ported this one, so I might as well post it. :-)

oh, a few words...

Min means Memory In, not Minimum. distict from M+ because it clears and does an M+ in one key.

< means backspace -- that doesn't work.

copy and paste don't work.

eventually Units and Cnst (Constants) will bring up a popup list of units and constants, but uh, not now.

hyp before sin cos or tan produces hyperbolic sin cos or tan -- think of it as a shift key.

Help doesn't work -- thus this post. The rest should be self explanitory if you actually need a scientific calculator.

up to nine levels of parens if you need them.

Note that this is NOT an rpn calculator -- it has an equals key

Awesome!

You know what would be really cool though? if you make me a little calculator for creatinine clearance and ideal body weight...and dosing weight...I could provide the formulas!

Cool - it's nice to see that some apps can be ported over very easily.

Out of curiosity - what do you do that you need a scientific calculator with you? They always told me I'd use math in real life, but I don't even know what most of those buttons mean.

Judging by his need for it still I'd say he's probably still taking math classes of some kind.

these are not signed ipk's. email install will not work. And the reality is that you're going to need to learn another method for side loading next week anyway, so you may as well now. Go to predev.wikidot.net and read up on various sideloading methods.
