Dali Clock, a Palm Pre port of a morphing clock program that I've been porting to various platforms since 1991! The original version ran on the Xerox Alto in the early 1980s, and on the original 128K Macintosh in 1984. I've written versions for X11, MacOS X, PalmOS Classic, and now Palm WebOS and Javascript. Download the applications and/or the source code on the above URL.

Nicely done. I like the changing backgroung colors and it even will change orientation when you turn the phone.

Even has preferences for changing the Date and Time formats, Frame Rate Speed, and Color cycle Speed.

Installed on my emulator and runs nicely. I don't like the look of it as it looks old and outdated, but it works!

Side note: Keeps on running in card view, too.

IGoDwnTwn34- 'Tis True, tis true. To be honest it is cool, but after checking it out for a while I think this might get deleted. I like the current clock app with the Analog hands.

Ahhh needless to say I am on the same track as you, "My Notification" and "Traslator" are definalty keepers.

It sucks. There is no decimal point and it doesn't read mail (yet?).

Worst app ever.

Mine is transitioning in 2 second increments. Is this normal? Frame rate doesn't seem to make a difference, and I have no other apps running.

Thanks!

Update.. A soft reboot (Orange, SYM, R) fixed it. Wonder what the resource hog is?

How do you install it on the SDK without emailing it?

I emailed it to myself and clicked on the link in the SDK and nothing happens.

TIA

Mine doesn't keep running on card view...but I'm running it on an actual Pre, not the emulator. Is that the difference I wonder? (and if it is, shouldn't the emulator "emulate" what the actual device does?)

Hey, the email install works fine for a lot of the Apps on the SDK.

I think I normally just get the ipk and palm-install it though...

good luck!
