Are we going to get a thread up for Notifications/Ringers and the ability to upload .mp3 files to share? I tried uploading the one I'm using, and it said invalid file.

EDIT: added it to a .zip file and here it is.
Attached: N-car_Lock-.zip (10.9 KB)

Uploads would be a suggestion for our precentral.net overlords. sound files are currently not a supported format.

First off, thanks for working diligently on the program. I can't wait for future updates to make the program more and more "P" to the "imp"!

As for installation, do you have to delete the previous version before clicking on the link in the new email? I didn't and don't see the change in the program. So I deleted the app, (then had to restart for some reason), clicked again on the link in the new email, and then it loaded.

Wasn't sure if that is/isn't to be expected or if my Pre is just "special."

^^ I did not need to uninstall to see the changes.

In the menu. If it is on the main screen it would be too easy for someone to accidentally select it by mistake.

Would really like to see the ability to change email and text tones separately.

Thanks for the wonderful app!

As someone who lives "on-call", I would love to be able to make a selection that a voicemail notification gets repeated at a selectable interval like every 2 minutes. That way if I'm out of earshot, I'll still get "notified" in a timely matter that I missed a call.

Thanks

Paul

P.S. It's fantastic to have a familiar old MP3 file reminding me of a missed call. Well done!

Paulgallaher: if you are ambitious, you can check out pre dev wiki: Pager/Nagger this might be able to be turned into an app or incorportated into this one with the work that some more advanced minds in the #webos-internals IRC channel are doing. Stay tuned or try out that link.

Here is my "notification" MP3. It's the "In Like Flint" presidential ring from the 1967 James Coburn film "In Like Flint". I believe it was also borrowed by Austin Powers.

Here is a link to files in case my attachment doesn't take:
