Question why doesn't my calendar alert repeat when I ignore it?

When I have an event in my calendar with an alert for say 45 minutes in advance and I somehow don't hear that alert, it won't repeat the alert every five minutes or so (like my Treo did...).

Is that normal, could it be something I did, or an app that does that?

Regrettably, that's the normal WebOS setting. Having said that, in my opinion, if you make use of the Calendar beyond 'casually', I would strongly suggest looking at Ubercalendar (free, installed as a patch using PreWare). Amongst many other great benefits (all courtesy of Metaview's hard work), it allows you to define calendar alert repeats (ie: how often it repeats & how many times) for missed alerts.

Good luck

P.S. Here's the main thread on Ubercalendar:

Does the notification LED blink at least after an alarm goes off?

With Ubercalendar, yes. Been too long since I used a stock Pre to say otherwise.
