Not receiving message notifications.

Occasionally, I'll open my messaging app to compose a new message and find that I have unread messages that I wasn't alerted to. I get no LED notification, no audible alert, no vibration and no icon on the bottom of my screen. And now I have friends claiming to have called me with no record of it in the missed call log.

If you have any idea what's causing this problem or how to fix it, please let me know.

I'm running webOS 1.4 on a Sprint Palm Pre with Preware installed.
