The speed dial function on my phone stopped working properly. I am able to speed dial existing contacts that I have previously set and to remove them, but I am not able to add any new ones. I don't remember exactly when this function stopped working. I've had my phone freeze on several occasions while it was running on v1.3 (I believe, sometime in December 2009, Canada), where I had to remove the battery in order to restart my phone. I later read somewhere about holding onto the power button and sliding the ringer silence switch back and forth a few times to reboot, but I've never actually tried that one out.
Anyway, I called Bell support, and they suggested I wipe my phone and reinstall all the apps. I've done that, but the Contacts app is still messed up. It's not really an essential function for me, but, if it's a relatively easy fix, then I'm game. Thanks! |
