SMS Backup

I've been googling this, and it seems impossible for now, but just in case some of you guys have found some workaround :

Is there any way to backup/restore SMS messages of my Palm Pré ?

yes there is you need to backup a file using webqi. here is the guide, ive done it myself and it works, only problem is that for picture messages, the pictures dont show up in the text convo.

It's a small downside, but I'm sure if you mess with some options then it will come back. Like if you resync profiles or relink, or possibly just sending them a text. Mine came back eventually.
