Default Help! Pain in the butt! No Device

I did EVERYTHING exactly as stated for webos installer and web docotr for homebrew. Had it working. Phone came into a problem after new webos update. Hard rest and remote reset accomplished deleted everything form computer as well. Re downloaded from scratch. Now my device3 is NOT found when trying to insstall apps, however my computer and all related recognizes it. Yes I even bought a new Palm Pre approved cable cord.
