Default Share your prePod / drPodder feeds
Let's use this thread to share each other's podcast feeds.. Here's mine as of now. (it includes several video feeds that I added today but haven't had a chance to check out yet..)

In some cases, I'm grabbing both the audio and the video feeds...

btw - if you're not using prepod/drPodder, why not?? http://forums.precentral.net/homebre...-k-prepod.html

To generate the feed xml file, open up drPodder (aka prepod), then click the top-left to bring up hte menu, select opml, then select Export via email. It'll open up a new card w/ the data populated. Just email that to yourself, then paste it here.

It wasn't mentioned above... if you're new to this and want to try out one of the feeds from someone else's list, just copy the URL that comes after
xmlURL=
into the Add Feed screen in DrPodder.

How did you get "This Week in Startups" to work? I've put in EXACTLY the same url for the audio only feed, but drPodder is launching it as a video.

Help?

Sending your feeds to email is a nice feature. Probably on several podcast apps, I've just never noticed it before.

Most of mine are already listed but I have a two new ones to add.
Studio 360 is a great NPR program on the arts.
Selected Shorts from NPR is great to listen to on quiet walks. It is dramatic readings of great short stories. They did a horror show a couple of weeks ago. I listened to it while out walking around 1:00am. There was a Bram Stoker Werewolf story. Many shudders ensued.:

Maybe this is old, but .... a trick to make adding a new feed easier:

Thanks for all the suggested feeds. There are still some that are missing and I think I found an easy way to add them.

(works with PalmOS 1.4)

On your desktop/laptop, :
  • Find the web page for the podcast you want to add to drPodder
  • Copy the URL to the clipboard
  • Go to Sprint Home Page and click on the "Send a Text Message" link (bottom right corner..you can also use Google Voice to send a text message, or ???)
  • Paste the contents of the clipboard to the message and send it to your phone
On you phone:
  • Open up the text message.
  • Tap on the far right hand side of the new message...select "copy text" from the popup menu

Open up drPodder
  • Click on the "add feed" button (i.e. the "plus" sign on the lower left corner)
  • Select "Enter feed URL"
  • Paste text from clipboard into the RSS feed textctrl

Done...hopefully this helps someone. I find trying to type in those long URLs is tedious.
