Do you want the option to delete useless Sprint crapware that comes on the Pre, such as NASCAR?

I don't know that I would refer to it as "useless Sprint crapware", but I would like to be able to get rid of NASCAR as I have no interest in using that app.

Personally i love the nascar app. but i do agree if u have no interest in that sport u shouldnt have to have it on your 300$ phone, other phones from sprint will let you install and uninstall that app. i wonder if when the nfl mobile app is ready it will be a mandatory dload?

Nascar probably has a deal with sprint to have that app on the Pre. If it bothers you that much just root ur Pre and remove it (That's what I did)

how about an option for those of us cant figure out why ppl hate nascar so much that they spend brain cells about this.

I don't follow nascar but I did open the application up and was pleasantly surprised with how robust it is. they did a nice job with it so it's really unfortunate that I wont use it.

I clicked the delete option in the poll, but there's a caveat: I'd like to be able to go to a "defaults applications" section on the App store to be able to re-install if necessary.

This works and it works well! If you follow the instructions, it's not terribly difficult, and gives you your first taste in "hacking" the Pre. Certainly made me comfortable for some later, bigger adventures.

If deleting is not allowed, make it useful. Keep the 'track my driver' stuff but add an accelerometer based driving game or something like that. Surely NASCAR can afford to give us something more...
