I didn't think about that. It would be great if you manage to remove that.
Thanks for the effort, regardless of outcome!

yeah, it's a bit weird that backup cannot be turned off without the data being deleted on the server...so a patch would be good.

(also, I'm missing RemyX...I don't know if he ever finished his solution for a custom backup)

Germany: Last backup on 16.04.2015 05:01. I just wanted to start a backup, but nothing happened. :-( The servers are down.

Yeah.. it's all over in Aus. too now.. as from a couple of days ago.

I guess 'Backup' App will not turn itself off until or unless it can first 'erase' it's last known effort?

+1 ~ A patch to rectify this could be useful now!

Things have been a bit hectic at work, so I haven't had time to really dive in. I won't cry if someone beats me to it.

This domain was due to expire on the 28th - now renewed for another year. So, some good news..?

I wouldn't read much into it. They probably have a department whose job it is to renew their domains to protect their intellectual property, even if it isn't very intellectual.

Ok, since now this is "official"... anyone has an idea of the status of the "substitute" servers community made?

Since it's Remy X I wouldn't get my hopes up... I haven't seen much delivered from his end so far... Lot of words, little action it seems

    well, lets hope

btw, it would be nice to be able to "integrate" the free apps (that a pre3 allowed to download) with the missing ones (limited to touchpad / other regions) (at least when the Go arrives... if it arrives.. 8th week of sea shipment without any trace :s )
