As we have passed 200, I'm posting the full list to date. A couple of people posted numbers for devices - these extra counts have been removed. Others mentioned friends and families without counting them. I have added these, assuming that 'kids' means at least 2. MartinH@webos' 'family' can only count as 1. Ratepayer claimed 3 numbers, but named only 2 devices, so I assume that's 2 other unspecified people. That gives us a count to date of 222. Feel free to add clarifications if you want, but as ever, no count will be complete or 100% accurate.

I am gratified by the number who have low post counts or were even first-time posters on this thread. I'm hoping for around 500 here, but even with translation technology, many non-English speakers won't appear here (Chinese especially, I expect) & there will always be lurkers. Perhaps there could be counts on other sites? Maybe there are as many as 1000? More? pivotCE currently has 451 followers on twitter...

In terms of other mobile systems, it's a tiny number, but as a community, it's a lot. Keep posting!

There are still plenty of people who haven't posted. Some are fairly frequent posters, some are well-known to the community, some are building LuneOS!

    THE RULES:
    1. If you have a phone or tablet running Legacy webOS or LuneOS and you intend to continue using the system after the HP shutdown in 2015, post here. We're counting users, so you can count family & friends, but not devices, so if it's just you, it doesn't matter if you have a single pixi or a large collection.
    2. I'd ask people to post once only, but inevitably, some one will chime in with a comment, so we should number ourselves. Find the previous numbered post, add yourself and whoever you are also counting to the running total and leave the number out if you're posting again.
    3. Please quote these rules in your post so they remain visible to new posters and this thread works as a head count rather than dissolving into random comments.
Tip: To reduce people posting the same numbers due to overlapping posts, quickly post your number only, then having secured your place in the webOS hall of fame, click edit to add your carefully considered remarks.

    The next number is 223.

    Hi All, nice initiative!

Pre3 - not daily use, due I need many apps (like 200+) for work, but hey, I'm definitely in!

Also Nexus 5 ready for an eventual port of LuneOS

FrankenPre2 daily driver, after original pre- this is the second transplant since the camera on the first one quit working.
Veer that is the phone of choice when going abroad in a GSM land.
    3 Touchpads.
Mine: dual boot webOS(patched up) and LuneOS - need to load the latest build - missed the last 2 releases
My wife's: cracked glass - no time to replace it but have a replacement ready to go
My sister's in law: vanilla webOS with maybe the additional keyboards.

2 Pre3s, Touchpad. Thought about going to a Blackberry smart phone but they have been universally panned by long time BB users. Not interested in Google or Apple because the OSs bite.

Pre, Pre Plus, Pre 2, and TouchPad.
TP sees weekly use, mostly for Skype
Pre2 was a daily driver until late 2014; had to switch to a different OS device to get better carrier signal

Sorry, a bit late here. Guess I'm #235.

A Pre3 and Touchpad 4G. Both daily drivers, not planning to change soon.

I've played around with iOS and Android and have not really been happy with either. My most-used apps are SimpleClock, HP48 Emulator, RSS Basic, Readability, Navit, Mode Switcher, Music, Accuweather, Neato!, and browser. I don't think that would really change much if I switch to a different OS (other than finding new apps to do the same things) so why bother?

Hoping somebody does something better before my WebOS devices bite the dust. (Yeah, I'm looking at you, LG!) Although I'm hearing good things about Windows 10...

Update for #120: 2 extra backup pre3's and a Nexus 4 have just arrived

-- Sent from my Palm Pre3 using Forums

I'm still using my damaged Pre 3. 1. My Touchpad has been sitting in my 'need to repair' pile for awhile, waiting for me to put in a new battery. 1and 1/4, maybe. If I can't get my replacement phone on, and that's looking somewhat doubtful at the moment...

I have a Nexus 4 for LuneOS, HP Touchpad, Palm Pre Plus, HP Palm Pre 2, and hoping to get more soon! I'm trying to convince my dad to use my Pre Plus so we can add another user when that happens.

Pre 2 I snagged on eBay will be here soon, and after a week or so I've playing with that I'll pick up a 3. Pretty stoked, so long as I can get the few apps I use loaded up before the deadline I'll be happy.
