I have 5154 apps after tapping "show available apps", but it only loads (and writes to file) 500 of them. This is so frustrating.

I have a Palm Pixi Plus.

I also was not able to get the list of free apps created. If I would have had some time in the last couple of weeks and found this 'Clone Edition' before I might have been able to fix it.

So now I have the archived SDKs (minus MacOS...don't have a Mac and will never buy one) as well as the most important (installed free/bought) apps.
What's missing now is a more or less complete list of free apps from the catalog and I need the latest doctors for the devices (Pre2/Pre2plus, Pre3 and Touchpad).
The trick with the modified host file didn't work as the servers seems to be shut down or moved to an unknown IP address.

Doctors are hosted at archive.org if you can't get them any other way - they take donations.

There are lists posted here if you need a list.

I posted these in another forum. If the BBCode doesn't work, too bad. You should be able to tell what's a link. Also, my Dropbox account has a 10GB daily bandwith cap, so only download if you don't already have the files.
For personal reference (And whoever else needs them) I've uploaded the latest WebOS Doctor for TouchPad here:

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/nq7ecrxlhc...5WiFi.zip?dl=0

    And all Novacom drivers here:

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/e95gbb5ale...vacom.zip?dl=0

These links may go down at any time, so I'd save them to your hard drive if you MAY ever need them in the future.

EDIT: I've also saved Doctors for the following devices.

    Pre Plus Verizon 2.1.0: https://www.dropbox.com/s/8yr2ftegav...2.1.0.jar?dl=0

    Pre Plus Verizon 1.4.5.1: https://www.dropbox.com/s/981ytety0y...4.5.1.jar?dl=0

    Pre Plus O2/Movistar 2.1.0: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ae097b8wfe...2.1.0.jar?dl=0

    Pre 2 Verizon 2.1.0: https://www.dropbox.com/s/gvr22ml7gw...2.1.0.jar?dl=0

    Pre 3 Verizon 2.2.4: https://www.dropbox.com/s/5dldv3udp2...2.2.4.jar?dl=0

    Pre 2 Unlocked (I think) 2.2.4: https://www.dropbox.com/s/iflbkvvts7...2.2.4.jar?dl=0

Pre Plus Verizon 2.2.4 (VERY buggy. DON'T run unless you know what you're doing): https://www.dropbox.com/s/gudjpusuo0...2.2.4.jar?dl=0

(Cross posted to: Script to save all your app IPKs in one step )

My Touchpad has become extremely unreliable, seems to believe it's out of memory when there is plenty available.

I believe it's time for a full wipe & WebOSDoctor.

However, I want to backup all my installed APPs, and have run into a problem with Impostah.

When I try to use "Show Installed Apps", I get this error:
    Service Error (InstalledApps):
(Actually I get service errors errors whenever I try to display any of the other items on the Impostah App Catalog page).

While my background is software, I haven't been able to locate any thing to help with this problem.

Is there a fix for this, or a workaround to create an equivalent file?

The App Catalog is gone unfortunately. There's no way to pull a clean IPK from it anymore unfortunately. Your best bet would be to repackage your current apps or get the IPK's from another source. I have around 3500-4000 free ones laying around, but not all either because some were already deleted when I made my App Catalog backup. I'm not sure if you have any paid apps as well? There are some luna-send commands to list all installed apps as well (you can run these using WebOS QuickInstaller or NovaTerm). "luna-send -n 1 palm://com.palm.applicationManager/listApps '{}'" or "luna-send -n 1 palm://com.palm.applicationManager/listPackages '{}'".

    OK,
The luna send commands both work with the WOSQI command window. However, they fill it & overflow.
Is there a way to redirect the output to a file accessable via the Touchpad's USB folder?

OK partly figured it out, the Linux >filename.txt redirect seems to work, BUT I don't know what file path prefix to use to send the output to the USB folder. Please help.
